This role involves working closely with Bench Assistants and MMU Operators to manage loading, tying, and firing tasks. Report all Unusual Incidents and Accidents immediately and participate in daily Toolbox talks and Monthly Safety Meetings. Ensure raw materials and dangerous goods follow SDS requirements while maintaining housekeeping standards.

Build professional relationships within Orica and with customers on site. Assist the client in achieving targets and maintaining production. Notify Orica site management of any variations in product specification, appearance, or performance.

Requirements

  • Generally up to 2 years experience
  • Role dependent technical and/or functional business system applications (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur)
  • Role specific technical, legislative, or SHES certification may be required
  • Demonstrates courage, resilience, and flexibility
  • Strong reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values, and solid character
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Report all Unusual Incidents and Accidents immediately
  • Participate in daily Toolbox talks and Monthly Safety Meetings
  • Undertake necessary training for Operations, SHEC, and site specific requirements
  • Maintain personal training against the Orica training Matrix
  • Ensure emergency equipment and First Aid kits are complete
  • Assist in management of Audit actions
  • Ensure minimum damage to the environment through waste minimisation and control
  • Manage loading, tying, and firing tasks with Bench Assistants and MMU Operators
