About this role

In the role, you will provide quality and timely blasting services as part of our Surface Mining team at our owner-operated St Ives Gold Mine. Play a key role in delivering high-quality blasting operations at a leading gold mine. Residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie area or FIFO from Perth on 8/6 roster.

Handle and use explosives safely and in compliance with legislation, maintaining storage areas and conducting QA audits. Identify and report hazards, supporting a zero-harm safety culture and ensuring environmental compliance. Deliver blasting operations with precision and safety focus daily.

Requirements

Current manual driver’s licence
Dangerous Goods Security Card
WA Shot Firer’s License
Experience in surface mining operations in a similar position
Knowledge of explosives handling and storage requirements
Ability to conduct QA audits on blasting materials
