Mining Supervisor

Monitor, control and supervise the mining production resources to achieve the production targets and objectives of the project in accordance with the project parameters and guidelines. This role focuses on operational efficiency and adherence to project standards throughout mining activities. Success is measured by meeting key production metrics and objectives.

Implement short term detailed mine execution plans at the position level using the BMP process. Provide necessary production parameters on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control and achieve the long term mine plan. Supervise mining operations shift by shift to address variances effectively.

Supervise the performance of mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in mining operations. Identify the development and training needs of these personnel for the benefit of the Project Manager. Ensure team alignment with project goals through ongoing performance oversight.

Minimize exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during operations. Implement all safety procedures, rules, regulations and statutory requirements per the Safety Management Plan. Maintain and actively implement SHE programs to meet ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 and SMKP standards.
