QTS Data Centers

Atlanta, US · Full-time · $95,000 – $125,000

About this role

The Senior Operations Maintenance Planner has end-to-end accountability for maintenance planning, schedule integrity, and operational readiness for assigned sites or campuses. The role balances preventive maintenance requirements, vendor capacity, site risk posture, and operational constraints. This ensures maintenance and drill activities are sequenced and executed safely without undue risk to uptime.

Actively challenges inputs, adjusts timing, and escalates risk based on real-time site conditions. Enforces planning discipline, standardization, and risk-based prioritization across internal teams and third-party vendors. Identifies and supports stable, predictable operations through disciplined oversight.

Oversees vendor work schedules, enforces planning standards, documentation quality, and readiness requirements. Holds vendors accountable to schedule adherence, SLA performance, and scope clarity. Manages spare parts governance by identifying critical inventory aligned with planned maintenance and vulnerabilities.

Establishes annual drill calendars aligned to site-specific risk profiles and determines sequencing across buildings. Ensures drills meaningfully test readiness and owns reporting, corrective actions, and follow-up. Provides leadership with a clear, defensible view of site readiness posture.
