Requirements
- 7-10 years mine and tailings planning work experience in the oil sands industry
- Experience with leading mining and tailings regulatory compliance reporting
- Undergraduate degree in Mine, Geological or Civil Engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulatory requirements (Directive 082, Directive 085, etc.)
- Familiar with developing civil scope including drainage and road designs
- Able to make rational decisions and recommend change in process to achieve objectives
- Promote learning from past experiences and incorporate management-of-change principles
