This permanent full-time role operates on a FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling maintenance activities while demonstrating understanding of safety and environmental policies. Regularly liaise with supervisors to detail changing priorities and equipment needs.

Requirements
- Seasoned planner with solid experience in Fixed Plant Planning
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems including PRONTO and Microsoft Project
- Understanding of safety and environmental policies in mining operations
- Ability to identify workplace hazards and take corrective actions
- Experience communicating with Maintenance, Production Supervisors and Metallurgy representatives
- Knowledge of shutdown stock requirements and vendor guidelines for site equipment
- Familiarity with fixed plant maintenance in mining and energy industry
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule Maintenance activities through the maintenance management systems PRONTO and Microsoft Project
- Demonstrate understanding of PLS safety and environmental policies and maintain understanding of main principles
- Report any situation, event or incident that has affected or has potential to harm the environment to management
- Support procedures and work practices aimed at preventing accidents or injuries
- Regularly audit team’s work environment and promote high level of safety awareness
- Actively participate in safety meetings and follow-up on issues raised
- Liaise with Maintenance and Production Supervisors detailing changing priorities and additional equipment
- Update the Planning & Reliability Superintendent on planning schedules and issues
